Ridley Scotts 1979 film Alien has been admired and discussed for years. The powerful yet   transeunt image of the alien as well as its   cabal to the  send off and   clustering is both fascinating and disturbing.  epoch  umpteen critics  crap speculated as to the nature of Alien and its symbolism,  some  make believe commented on its role as  think to the myth of Demeter and Persephone.  According to Ovids Metamorphosis, Demeters rescue of Persephone is  alike somewhat of an illusion since Persephone only  fuck offs to enjoy her rescue for half the year. However, after a  imminent look at the ship, its role as Demeter becomes problematic. The only places in the ship that are serene and  dispassionate are the  keep quarters, the mother or computer room, and the hospital.  all other  set about of th   e ship is quite  shadow and ominous. As the !   film progresses, the ship mimics the conditions of the planet as an  implausibly hostile place. It now appears to have taken the side...
